CARE-NG Data Migration Success Story

Cancer Research UK needed MAST ICT to help with the data migration process of their Oracle database to their new CARE-NG system. MAST ICT discovered the documents stored within the NG communications log had not been properly migrated and after some investigation, decided on a solution.

MAST ICT wrote a small application to read the communications log records and extracted the documents to individual files with the correct file extensions, making their upload to the new system a much smoother and easier process.
