Training can be the make or break for an implementations project

In a recent project for a Royal society we realised during the configuration stages that the confidence of the users was very low and there was a resistance to change.

Having raised our concerns on the potential impact to the project with the Project Manager, we outlined several ways of addressing the problem. With the help of our training specialist In2itive Learning, we designed a comprehensive training programme that was not only designed to train the users on the new procedures, but build their confidence and understanding of why the change was needed.

The training programme included producing detailed procedure manuals, examples and a training environment was made available for users to practice and test their skills before using the live system.
