MAST ICT will be at the Institute of Fundraising’s Technology Group’s Annual Conference 2016, which is taking place on Friday 20th May 2016 at the America Square Conference Centre, London.

The event is essential for all those working in technology and fundraising who want to stay up to date with sector developments, learn a new skill and be inspired to meet new challenges.

Some of the sessions streams taking place on the day include:

  • Keeping It Legal – Can we use technology not just to steer clear of the worst but to stay ahead of the curve and keep promises to supporters without hurting donations?
  • Managing Change – Stories and experiences of how charities have aligned changes in technology with organisational strategy.
  • Skill-Building – Interactive sessions to sharpen skills, pick up tips and get career and sector advice.

As well as a range of talks and workshops, there are two keynotes on the day:

  • John Carr, Partner Manager Europe at Facebook, who will launch the event with insights on how Facebook is working with charities and providing the opportunity to expand the digital reach of organisations in the sector .
  • Lucy Gower of Lucidity, who will demonstrate the power and process of innovation in fundraising.

The MAST team particularly looking forward to seeing Jonathan Cook from Insightful’s session on “The Big Charity Digital Myth”, as we have worked with him at Diabetes UK and Dyslexia Action, with Jonathan providing the fundraising consultancy and MAST updating the CRM system to support the new analysis and selections.

And although it clashes with Jonathan’s session, we have found Chris Holt from The Woodland Trust’s views on the Preparing for the Fundraising Preference Service to be very balanced, as he recommends a practical and measured response based on fact not fiction.

If you’d like to meet one of the MAST ICT team while at the conference, simply contact us and we’ll arrange a meeting. The Institute of Fundraising’s Technology Group’s Annual Conference is now open for registration, so get your tickets now.

We look forward to seeing you there.
